1/28- Blink Protocol/complete

 

How did you follow the schematic to create the Blink sketch?

     First off, I looked at the first several pages of the SIK guide and saw the instructions and schematics. I also completed the blink protocol.

 

What purpose does a Bread Board serve?

       The breadboard conducts the electricity to ports inserted into it. The Arduino controls the flow of electricity.

 

What are the problems with setting up a circuit?

   A problem was that you may have issues bending the resistors. You may also accidently misplace the jumper wires by putting it in the wrong areas (positive to negative and negative to positive. There are several more challenges faced, however these 2 are the main ones.

 

 What are the problems you faced with programming a circuit?

   Some problems may be that the numbers the wires are pugged inot can be mixed up and the LEDs could be placed in the wrong area. Also, the numbers to build the script can be complicated and finding the loops. Lastly, each loop has a different role, so it's difficult to find out.

 

 How can you incorporate interactive components into your circuit?

   Some components that may make my circuit more interactive is to add more LEDs and make them blink at different rates. You can also add more components that haven't been used yet.

 

What are the challenges of working with interactive components?

    Some challenges may be that you put the components in the wrong spot because it's so small. If it goes in the wrong spot, it won't function properly.

 

 

Arduino Prime Focus Question

Using an Arduino to invent or create makes it possible to control the flow of electricity. In what way can you imagine designing, engineering or inventing a product using an Arduino?

*What would you invent?

*Why would it be useful?

*Who would want one of your inventions?

*How would you use the Arduino in the design?

 

I would invent an app that activates to your app store. This app would allow you to take a photograph and send it to the app headquarters. The headquarters would then make your picture on the breadboard of the arduino using LED's. They would then send you the creation through the app and allow you to buy it if you like it. If not, then you can save it in your downloads. This app would be useful, because it would be fun and test your creativity. People who are into art would want my invention, because they would be able to play with their artwork using lights and the arduino. I would use the arduino, because the breadboard would be the part holding the LED's. Also, the components would be utilized in this invention.
